Every time I get the sewing machine out... some of the people I love and hold dear to my heart bring all kinds of favorite clothing items that need to be mended.... :-)

My sewing machine has been out for a while and I've finished one of the jean handbag I started for my nieces. I've been re-purposing some yard sale finds to do this project and using some odd pieces of fabric I have left over from other projects.
The second bag is almost complete. Thought I'd try a braiding technique for the shoulder strap on it.
